Stylish, comfy, high quality as I've come to expect from Pendleton. When I was in high school (1972) I wanted to get this shirt. There was no way however that I was going to spend the 25 hours it would take at that time, working at my minimum wage job just so I could buy a shirt.I was shopping for wool shirts recently and wondered . . . was it possible that the particular Pendleton shirt I had once coveted was still being made? An Amazon search revealed that not only is the shirt is still available, it is now more affordable, at least in inflation adjusted dollars, than it was back in 1972.The Pendleton classic wool shirt, in Black Watch Tartan, it is everything I had ever dreamed it would be.I bought this for my dad for his birthday. He loves it, and it keeps him very warm. It's a nice color and he likes to wear jeans a lot, so this works well for him. He appreciated the fit of the shirt.Growing up in the Northwest in the 50s and 60s, Pendleton wool shirts were our premium brand. I've always liked them. This shirts is the same quality as back then. I stopped by the Pendleton Factory store several years ago and picked up a great deal on a slightly heavier shirt, but it was a little large so my wife converted it to a light jacket. When I started looking for another wool shirt I found this one on sale here on Amazon for 1/2 price. It's attractive and it's great at keeping the chill out. My skin is sensitive to wool but this shirt has a fairly smooth finish, so I wear a long sleeve shirt under the Pendleton and it's very comfort. This is thew 11th one I've bought, and I'm looking forward to buying more!It would be nice to have tall sizes available.Pendleton products are expensive but wear forever. I wear my grandfathers shirts. My wife bought this for me as a Christmas present. I'm 6'2" tall, so she bought me an XL Tall. It fits me fine, but has no room to spare. Fortunately, I'm somewhat trim; it would not fit comfortably otherwise. If you are larger n the waist than 38 inches, you should definitely buy the XXL size; you will need the room.A beautiful shirt, it was a bit scratchy. After trying it on, I washed it (cold water) and let it hang-dry as per the instructions: it dried quickly, was pretty much wrinkle-free (did not need ironing) and wasn't scratchy at all afterwards. Frankly, I prefer a bulkier shirt, and this is more of a dress-shirt weight, so it's not one you'll want if you're looking for warmth alone. As a dress shirt, it is great: it drapes well and the collar and cuffs stay stiff. Don't put it in the dryer, tough, or it will be sure to shrink.Esta playera de lana cumplió mis expectativas y su precio es bastante moderado ya que su calidad lo demuestra. It's Pendelton, Fine shirt, honest, worth every penny.Fits great. Very warm.
